How you activate your license depends on when you bought your copy of Webinarignition. If you bought your license before January 2021, then follow the instructions for old license users below. If you bought your license after January 2021, then follow the instructions below for new license holders.

Activating An Old (Pre-01-2021) License

For old license holders, simply paste in your old license keys in Webinarignition. In Webinarignition, click on "I have a key" and paste in your Webinarignition username and key as usual.

NB: Note that the new licensing will not affect your purchase agreement from before January 2021; you will still have access to the features and privileges that you had before. The difference now is that there is now a new, "Ultimate" version with new features. You will have to pay for these new features if you need them. We're offering a 35% discount if you choose to upgrade the next days! 

Activating A New (Freemius) License

If you bought your license after January 2021, you will receive an email with your license key.

After you have received the license key go to your wordpress plugins page,, then scroll to the Webinarignition section.

Click on "Activate License" and on the pop-up paste in the license you received on your email.
If you did not receive a license key in your email you may request one by clicking on "Can't find your license key?" and specifying your email address.

Common pitfall - you will not see your bought license in account

If you opt-in to Freemius (see below) we will take the email address of the current WordPress account.

If you buy your license with a different email address, you will not see your bought license in account.

Case 1) When you bought with the wrong email address inside your Freemius account.

Case 2) When you bought with email address x and you opt-in a different WordPress user account email address. Directly inside WebinarIgnition under menu item "Account". (See screenshot above)
